FTC Solar Names Cathy Behnen as Chief Financial Officer

FTC Solar, Inc., a prominent provider of solar tracker systems, software, and engineering services, has announced the appointment of Cathy Behnen as Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately. Behnen had been serving as Interim CFO since November 2023.

Shaker Sadasivam, Chairman of the Board of FTC Solar, expressed his satisfaction with Behnen’s appointment, stating, “I am pleased to confirm Cathy’s role as CFO. Her comprehensive understanding of FTC Solar, coupled with her extensive experience in the tracker and finance sectors, makes her an ideal fit for this position. Prior to her tenure as interim CFO, Behnen served as FTC’s Chief Accounting Officer since 2020. With over 20 years of financial leadership experience, her previous roles included serving as CFO and VP of Finance at Penn National Gaming Hollywood Casino Jamul – San Diego, as well as holding a Partner position at the accounting firm RubinBrown. Behnen is a Certified Public Accountant and holds an MBA from St. Louis University.
