Chinese Ambassador to Lebanon, Qian Minjian, announced that China will provide Lebanon with solar panels to support its solar energy project at telecommunication centers.
The donation aims to cover approximately 358 centers of Lebanon’s state-owned telecoms operator, Ogero, benefiting over half of Ogero’s total stations nationwide.
Following a meeting with Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati and President of the Lebanese Council for Development and Reconstruction Nabil Al-Jisr, the Lebanese official mentioned ongoing dialogue with China for the project’s subsequent stages and discussed potential future collaborations between the two nations.
Ambassador Qian emphasized the importance of China’s relationship with Lebanon and expressed a commitment to exploring additional cooperative projects in the country.
