GRIDCO is inviting expressions of interest from applicants interested in offering or providing land for lease or sale to solar power developers for the establishment of solar power plants in Odisha.
Upon meeting GRIDCO’s requirements, applicants will be empanelled to provide their land to solar power developers on a long-term lease of a minimum of 30 years or on a sale basis. The cost of the document for Expression of Interest (EOI) is Rs 2,000.00 plus GST at 18%.
Submission deadline for proposals is April 2, 2024 and date of proposal evaluation is April 3, 2024.
The offer to sell or lease land remains valid for 365 days from the date of bid opening. GRIDCO reserves the right to request an extension of the validity period beyond 365 days, subject to the prevailing terms and conditions of the tender. GRIDCO bears no liability, including financial, for any extensions granted by the applicant.
The land offered must have a minimum size of 20 acres, based on an assumption of 4-5 acres per MW, and should be located at a single site near a specific DISCOM/OPTCL substation.
In addition to the land being free from all encumbrances and legally and physically owned by the applicant, it should not fall within prohibited wildlife, forest areas, or defense establishment zones. There should be no government restrictions on setting up solar power projects on the offered land.
The applicant must be either an Indian national or a registered entity in India, including companies, sole proprietorships, partnerships, limited liability partnerships, consortiums, cooperative societies, as well as non-resident Indians, persons of Indian origin, or multinational companies with a registered office in India.
