SolarEdge Invests in German Software Startup Focused on Decarbonizing Multi-Dwelling Sector

SolarEdge Technologies, Inc. has announced an investment and partnership agreement with AMPEERS ENERGY, a German software startup specializing in decarbonizing multi-dwelling buildings. By integrating SolarEdge’s established solar and smart energy solutions with AMPEERS’ platform, the collaboration aims to introduce a comprehensive photovoltaic tenant electricity solution.

This offering will cater to real estate companies in Germany and Austria, providing a complete package for achieving climate-neutral building portfolios, including solar and storage generation, tenant electricity billing, EV charging infrastructure, and innovative heating technologies.

Leveraging SolarEdge’s advanced solar technology, with features such as enhanced safety, optimized energy yield, and flexible design, the partnership targets to facilitate easier installation and operation of photovoltaic and tenant electricity solutions in multi-dwelling buildings with limited roof space and access. SolarEdge’s strategic investment in AMPEERS aligns with evolving legislative changes in tenant electricity models in Germany and opens up opportunities to address the multi-dwelling market across Europe.
