Fluence Establishes Local Office in Taiwan, Strengthening Asia-Pacific Presence

Fluence Energy, Inc., a well-known provider of energy storage products, services, and optimization software for renewables and storage, has opened a new office in Taiwan to expand its presence in the Asia-Pacific region.

As per the data from the Energy Administration, Ministry of Economic Affairs, Taiwan’s total installed renewable energy capacity had reached 17,916 MW by the end of 2023, which marks an increase of 150% from 2019.

This consistent year-over-year growth positions Taiwan as an important regional market for energy storage. Fluence has been chosen for 2 GW energy storage projects in Asia-Pacific, advancing grid stability and clean energy transition. Globally, Fluence has 8.7 GW projects deployed or contracted.
