GoodWeโ€™s flagship annual webinar, โ€œGoodWeekโ€ 2024, culminated on March 15th after five days of engaging presentations, marking a notable success. With over 5,000 live attendees and 10,000 interactions from 60 countries and regions, this year’s event once again served as a platform to explore cutting-edge advancements and foster collaboration in solar technology. Around the topic of “W in the Next Phase,” GoodWe boldly confronts challenges and endeavors to move on to a journey towards the future of solar energy alongside PV enthusiasts.

EMEA Session

During the webinar, GoodWe shared insights into the C&I solar+storage market, covering trends, market drivers, and smart solutions. This market is now largely driven by benefits related to PV energy self-consumption, peak-shaving and grid independence. According to PEAKPLANโ€™s newest solar+storage simulation, storage remains preferred, with the potential for peak reduction reaching up to 91 kW in 292 kWh/200 kW systems.

Australia Session

The session provided up-to-date insights into the Australian PV market. According to SunWiz, the installed capacity in 2024 is expected to reach 5.37GW, a 17% increase compared with 2023, and meanwhile 2024 promises to be Australia’s 2nd-best year of PV installation. In the webinar, GoodWe introduced some compelling use cases for solar patio and solar EV carport applications. In addition, SolarQuip called for more considerations & regulations of the residential market from the installerโ€™s view.
