Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) has released a tender for the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) of a 1 MW grid-connected open access captive solar power project situated at its Northern Region Pipelines in Kurukshetra, Haryana.
The contract not only involves the commissioning of the project but also encompasses one year of comprehensive operation and maintenance (O&M) services post-construction, along with an additional nine years of extended operation and maintenance support.
The deadline for submitting bids is April 29, 2024, with bid opening scheduled for the following day.
The contract duration spans 127 months from the date of the letter of acceptance, with a Part-A duration of 19 months (7 months for project commissioning and one year for O&M), and a Part-B duration of 9 years following the completion of Part-A.
The earnest money deposit for the tender stands at ₹641,700, with exemptions applicable to central and state public sector undertakings as well as joint ventures of IOCL.
Bidders are required to demonstrate an annual turnover of not less than ₹4.19 crore during any one of the preceding three financial years.
Eligible bidders must have executed at least 1 MW of on-grid solar power projects with net-metering/gross metering/net billing or feed-in/open access facility in any industry, either as the main contractor or subcontractor, within the last seven years.
The needed project experience comprises three similar completed works valued at ₹2.1 crore, two completed works valued at ₹2.8 crore, and one completed job priced at ₹3.5 crore.
