The investment includes the acquisition of a 10% stake in the company’s share capital from founder Fabrizio Zago and the Tyrus Capital fund, along with convertible bonds enabling VINCI to potentially increase its ownership and ultimately gain control over NatPower SA.

As part of the agreement, VINCI secures a priority right to acquire projects in the ready-to-build phase initiated by NatPower SA.

Additionally, VINCI and NatPower SA have agreed to collaborate on the development of renewable energy projects, focusing mainly on onshore wind and solar initiatives in the United States. This collaboration builds upon NatPower SA’s existing portfolio, comprising approximately 1.2 GW of capacity with an additional 2 GW in the preliminary stage. A joint venture, controlled by VINCI through its subsidiary Cobra IS, will be established in the United States to facilitate this partnership.
