RECPDCL Launches Tender for 223 MW Solar Power Development, Boosting India’s Renewable Energy Infrastructure

REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited is seeking bids to select solar power developers for establishing 223 MW ISTS-connected solar (PV) power project(s) in India through the tariff-based competitive bidding (TBCB) process under the scheme for flexibility in generation scheduling of thermal/hydro power stations through bundling with renewable energy and storage power.

The process follows a single-stage two-envelope approach of Request for Selection (RFS).

The bidders must submit their online bids by May 13, 2024, and bids in Hard copy by May 15, 2024, with bid opening scheduled for the next day.

Bidders can acquire the RFS documents on all working days from 19.04.2024 until the bid submission deadline, between 10:30 a.m. (IST) and 4:00 p.m. (IST).

This can be done upon payment of a non-refundable document fee of Rs. 29,500/- (Twenty-Nine Thousand and Five Hundred Rupees Only), or the equivalent amount in US dollars prevailing on the date of document purchase (including GST).

The response to the Request for Selection (RFS) will be opened in the presence of representatives from bidders who choose to attend. Clarifications regarding the RFS documents will be provided to bidders who have obtained/purchased the RFS document by paying the necessary fee.
