True Green Capital Management (TGC), a renewable energy infrastructure private equity firm, has entered into a partnership agreement with Qcells, a global leader in clean energy solutions, to deploy up to 450 megawatts (MW) of solar projects across commercial, community, and industrial sectors throughout the United States.

Under the agreement, Qcells Enable, a subsidiary specializing in solar Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC), will spearhead the installation of the projects. This collaboration marks a significant milestone for both TGC and Qcells, showcasing their commitment to fostering a sustainable solar supply chain in the U.S.

TGC’s dedication to expanding investment in U.S. solar electricity projects aligns with the partnership’s goal of providing accessible, low-cost renewable energy to residential, commercial, and industrial customers. Leveraging Qcells’ expertise in turnkey EPC services and top-grade solar modules, the initiative aims to drive the adoption of clean energy solutions nationwide.

Qcells will supply solar modules from its fully integrated factory in Cartersville, Georgia, as part of its $2.5 billion U.S. investment announced in 2023. These modules will utilize PV cells manufactured with polysilicon sourced from REC Silicon in Moses Lake, WA. Hanwha Solutions, Qcells’ parent company, is the largest shareholder of REC Silicon.
