GAIL (India) Limited, a major state-owned natural gas company, has announced a tender for the design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of a grid-tied rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) plant. This initiative includes a five-year annual maintenance contract (AMC) with a generation guarantee under the KG Basin project.
The tender, identified as GAIL/3130/C&P/SR/C-01/2024/SKK, was released on May 8, 2024. It outlines the procurement of a single bid system through an e-tender format. Prospective developers are required to submit their bids electronically by May 30, 2024, at 13:00 IST, with the unpriced bids set to be opened the following day at 13:30 IST.
Bidders are required to submit a bid security of Rs. 3,52,570, and special provisions are available for Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs), Start-Ups, and Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs) regarding bid security declarations.
