Trinasolar Supplies 23 MW Baranoa Power Plant in Atlántico with Cutting-Edge Solar Modules and Trackers

Trinasolar, a prominent Chinese solar manufacturer, has announced the supply of its state-of-the-art Vertex N series 720W modules and Vanguard 1P trackers to the 23 MW Baranoa power plant located in Baranoa, Atlántico, within the Atlántico department.

Once operational, the Baranoa power plant is projected to generate approximately 43 million kWh of clean energy. Trinasolar’s brand and marketing manager, Cao Yunduan, highlighted the company’s commitment to innovation, offering an integrated solution of smart trackers and energy storage to optimize energy performance in various environmental conditions.

The Vertex N 720W series modules, renowned for their ultra-low degradation, low voltage, and high string power, are expected to enhance energy performance, efficiency, reliability, and reduce the Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE). Additionally, the Vanguard 1P solar tracker, designed for projects on flat terrain, boasts superior stability, adaptability, and reliability in challenging wind conditions.

Developed through rigorous testing and design refinement, the Vanguard 1P tracker is equipped with spherical bearings, a Trina clamp, and a reduced pile foundation, ensuring greater reliability, energy performance, and cost-effectiveness for the Baranoa power plant.
