CMPDI Announces Tender for 5 MW Solar Power Plant with 10 Years O&M Services in Maharashtra

The Central Mine Planning and Design Institute Ltd. (CMPDI), a subsidiary of Coal India Ltd. and a Miniratna Company, has announced an online tender for the design, engineering, procurement, supply, construction, erection, testing, and commissioning of a 5 MW (AC) solar power plant. This project, located in the Chandrapur area of Western Coalfields Limited (WCL) in Maharashtra, includes comprehensive operation and maintenance (O&M) for ten years.

Bids must be submitted by July 2, 2024, with the opening scheduled for July 3, 2024, at 11 AM.

The tender, accessible on the Central Public Procurement Portal (CPP) and Coal India’s e-tender website, invites eligible bidders possessing a valid Digital Signature Certificate (DSC). The estimated cost of the project is ₹25,21,25,870, inclusive of GST, with an earnest money deposit of ₹31,51,573 required. The total contract period spans 3922 days, with 270 days allocated for construction and commissioning, and 3652 days for O&M.
