BluPine Energy has announced the signing of a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Dalmia Cements Limited (Bharat) to establish a 46.8 MWp solar project in Karnataka. Upon completion, this venture is anticipated to produce approximately 93 million units of power annually, effectively offsetting over 85 thousand tonnes of CO2 emissions per year.
Under a captive open-access model, Dalmia Bharat holds a 26% stake in the BluPine Energy SPV. This strategic partnership underscores BluPine Energy’s commitment to providing reliable and trustworthy solutions for Commercial and Industrial (C&I) consumers seeking to implement net-zero and carbon-neutral strategies.
Rahul Mishra, Head of C&I at BluPine Energy, expressed his satisfaction with the collaboration, stating, “This partnership validates BluPine Energyโs dedication to being a dependable partner for C&I consumers. With our extensive experience in the sector, we are committed to working with stakeholders to create an enabling environment for C&I open-access projects nationwide.”
This agreement propels BluPine Energy’s renewable capacity to 2.4 GW, inclusive of approximately 400 MW of C&I projects across Karnataka, Maharashtra, and Chhattisgarh, marking a significant milestone in the company’s sustainable energy portfolio expansion.
