Singulus Technologies AG, headquartered in Kahl am Main, Germany, has announced the formation of a joint venture named Singulus Solar GmbH in partnership with Jinchen Corp. The new venture aims to provide cost-effective production solutions tailored for the photovoltaic industry. Singulus Technologies disclosed this initiative on Monday, highlighting its role in manufacturing solar cell production facilities while Jinchen Corp focuses on solar module production.
According to Singulus, the joint venture will specialize in delivering production solutions spanning from cell to module lines, focusing on heterojunction and Topcon technologies.
“We are setting new benchmarks in the photovoltaic sector with this joint venture,” stated Andreas Rinck, CEO of Singulus Technologies. The move is a response to the growing global demand for photovoltaic process and system solutions. “Our strategically located production sites ensure rapid delivery times and cost-effective solutions,” added Li Yisheng, Chairman of Jinchen Corp, noting that initial projects are already underway. However, specific details were not disclosed regarding these projects.
The establishment of Singulus Solar GmbH underscores both companies’ commitment to innovation and efficiency in the renewable energy sector.
