The North Central Railway’s Prayagraj Division has announced two separate tenders for the installation of rooftop solar power plants aimed at boosting sustainable energy infrastructure within the region.
The first tender involves the provision of a 4.5 MWp rooftop solar power plant, with an earnest money deposit requirement of โน13,22,200. The second tender is for the provision of a 2.5 MWp rooftop solar power plant, requiring an earnest money deposit of โน8,10,600. Both tenders emphasize the need for satisfactory execution of work related to the design, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of Solar Photovoltaic (SPV) solar power plants.
Interested bidders must ensure that their offers remain valid for a period of 60 days from the date of submission. The completion period for the projects is set at six months from the date of award.
The closing date and time for both tenders have been scheduled for August 12, 2024, at 15:00 hours. Companies and contractors with relevant experience and capabilities in the solar power sector are encouraged to participate in these tenders to contribute to the region’s sustainable development goals.
These projects are part of North Central Railwayโs broader initiative to enhance its green energy portfolio, reduce carbon footprint, and promote the use of renewable energy sources. The successful execution of these solar power plants will play a significant role in achieving energy efficiency and sustainability targets within the railway sector.
