Canadian Solar Inc. through its subsidiary, CSI Solar’s e-STORAGE, has secured a contract to deliver a 498 MWh DC standalone battery energy storage system for Aypa Power’s Bypass Project.
Scheduled for completion in Q3 2025, the project is located in Fort Bend County, Texas, and will support the energy demand of the Houston area. Each of the 106 units of e-STORAGE’s SolBank 3.0 will contribute a capacity of 5 MWh to the system.After commissioning, e-STORAGE will provide ongoing operational support under a Long-Term Service Agreement (LTSA).
