EESL Announces Annual Rate Contract for Supply of 2000 MW Single Phase Solar Inverters Across India

Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL) has issued a tender inviting bids for an Annual Rate Contract for supply of 2,000 MW Single Phase Solar Inverters across India. The tender, conducted on a domestic competitive bidding basis through e-procurement, requires bidders to design, manufacture, test, and supply the inverters as per specified technical specifications.

Key details of the tender include:

Validity and Pricing: The Letter of Award (LOA) or Notification of Award (NOA) will be valid for 12 months from issuance, with fixed prices throughout the contract period.

Delivery Schedule: Supply will be based on System Generated Release Orders (ROs)/Purchase Orders specifying quantity and location.

Important Dates: A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for July 18, 2024. The deadline for submission of bids (soft and hard copies) is August 5, 2024, with bid opening on the same day.

Bid Requirements: Bidders must pay a non-refundable tender fee of Rs. 25,000/- and provide Bid Security/EMD (Earnest Money Deposit) as specified, varying by package.

Bidders participating must submit Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) separately for each package they intend to bid on. The EMD amounts required are as follows:

Package I: Rs. 7,10,00,000.00 (Rs. Seven Crores Ten Lakhs only)
Package II: Rs. 7,36,00,000.00 (Rs. Seven Crores Thirty Six Lakhs only)
Package III: Rs. 4,73,00,000.00 (Rs. Four Crores Seventy Three Lakhs only)
Package IV: Rs. 6,31,00,000.00 (Rs. Six Crores Thirty One Lakhs only)
Package V: Rs. 4,20,00,000.00 (Rs. Four Crores Twenty Lakhs only)
If a bidder wishes to participate in multiple packages, they must ensure separate EMD submissions for each package according to the specified amounts.
