Latham & Watkins has guided Citicore Renewable Energy Corporation (CREC) through its initial public offering (IPO) on the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE). The IPO includes 1.78 billion common shares, with a 10% over-allotment option of up to 178 million secondary common shares, priced at ₱2.70 per share. The capital raised will primarily fund the development of solar energy power plants.
The Latham team was led by Hong Kong partner Benjamin Carale, with associate Diana Dizon, and Singapore foreign legal counsel Margarita del Rosario. Boston counsel Joel Cavanaugh advised on investment fund matters, while New York partner Elena Romanova, with associate Jung Hyun Park and Boston associate Tessa Young, provided tax advice.
