SJVN Limited, a joint venture between the Government of India and Himachal Pradesh, designated as the Renewable Energy Implementing Agency, is inviting proposals for the establishment of 1200 MW ISTS-connected Wind-Solar Hybrid Power Projects. This initiative aligns with the Wind-Solar Hybrid Policy issued by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy to enhance grid stability and optimize transmission infrastructure.

The bidding process, under the Tariff-Based Competitive Bidding framework, will be conducted through a Single Stage Two Envelope system, comprising Technical and Financial Bids, followed by an e-Reverse Auction. Successful bidders will enter into a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with SJVN.

Interested developers must submit bids offering a minimum capacity of 50 MW, up to a maximum of 400 MW, with a requirement that at least 33% of the capacity be from either wind or solar sources. Bidders are encouraged to utilize fiscal incentives such as Accelerated Depreciation and Tax Holidays, though these will not influence bid evaluation.
