NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam Ltd. Issues Tender for 1698 KW Solar Power Project at Munitions India Ltd.

NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam Ltd. (NVVN) has announced a tender for the development of a substantial solar power project at Munitions India Ltd. (MIL). The project will include both ground-mounted and rooftop installations, totaling 1698 kW. The scope involves a 769 kW ground-mounted system and a 929 kW rooftop system at MIL’s facilities in Aruvankadu and Trichy.

Project Scope and Requirements

The project entails installing Solar Photo Voltaic (PV) systems on rooftops at MIL’s buildings, as detailed in Annexure-A of Section VI of the bidding documents. The successful bidder will be responsible for designing, engineering, and implementing the solar PV systems to ensure maximum generation. Responsibilities also include conducting preliminary visual assessments of the roofs, arranging water and electricity supplies, ensuring security, and determining the optimal capacity for the solar PV plants. The successful bidder will also manage operation and maintenance (O&M) for a period of 10 years.

Bidding Details

  • Issuance of IFB: As specified in the NIT on the GePNIC portal.
  • Bidding Document Sale Date & Time: As per the NIT on the GePNIC portal.
  • Last Date for Receipt of Queries: As per the NIT on the GePNIC portal.
  • Bid Submission Start: As per the NIT on the GePNIC portal.
  • Bid Security: INR 10,00,000 (Ten Lakh Rupees).

Bidders must visit the GePNIC portal for the latest bidding schedule. The cost of the bidding document is NIL. However, bids must be accompanied by the specified bid security in the form stipulated in the bidding documents. Bidders can submit the bid security through electronic fund transfer.

Eligibility Criteria

The tender is open to bidders from within India only, with specific restrictions outlined in the ITB Clause regarding procurement from countries sharing a land border with India.

  • Bidders are advised to visit the site to gather all necessary information for the installation of solar PV plants before submitting their bids. No additional claims will be entertained regarding site conditions post-bid submission.
  • The bidder bears all costs associated with the preparation and submission of their bid. NVVN will not be responsible for any costs incurred.
