Jakson Engineers Limited and the State Bank of India (SBI) have joined forces to boost the adoption of solar energy across India. The two organizations have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) under the Surya Shakti Solar Finance programme, aimed at increasing the use of solar power in institutional, commercial, and industrial sectors.

Anurag Garg, CEO of Jakson Solar, emphasized the partnership’s goal to make solar energy accessible to a broader audience, supporting the nationโ€™s shift towards sustainability.

As part of this collaboration, SBI will provide credit of up to Rs. 10 crore to commercial and industrial users. This initiative is set to expedite the rollout of rooftop solar projects, contributing to the Prime Ministerโ€™s ambitious target of reaching 100 GW of rooftop solar capacity by 2030.
