RWE Secures Two Long-Term Solar PPAs with Meta for U.S. Projects Under Construction

RWE announced it has signed two long-term power purchase agreements (PPAs) with Meta for power from two solar farms currently under construction. These agreements align with RWE’s strategy to meet the growing demand for clean energy from its U.S. renewables portfolio.

Construction is in progress on RWE’s 274 MWac County Run Solar project in Illinois and its 100 MWac Lafitte Solar project in Louisiana, both set to be commissioned by late 2025.
The clean energy generated by these projects will help Meta reach its goal of powering its operations with 100% renewable energy.
