Bahrain Secures $16.65M Investment From Indian Firms In Manufacturing, Renewable Energy, And ICT

The Bahrain Economic Development Board (Bahrain EDB), with the support of Team Bahrain, has secured $16.65 million in investment commitments from three leading India-based companies during a week-long visit to Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Chennai. The investments span sectors including manufacturing, renewable energy, and ICT, strengthening Bahrainโ€™s position as a regional hub.

Chemco will expand its operations in Bahrain International Investment Park, while Bhageria Industries plans an 11.40 MW solar project. Additionally, an Indian ICT firm is setting up its regional headquarters in Bahrain, boosting the countryโ€™s tech capabilities.

H.E. Noor bint Ali Alkhulaif, Minister of Sustainable Development, praised the investment as a testament to Bahrainโ€™s robust ties with India and its growing reputation as a key international business destination.
