Clear Blue Technologies Partners With Growth Energy To Power African Telecom Sites With Solar Energy

Clear Blue Technologies International Inc., a leader in Smart Power solutions, has secured a Notice of Award agreement with Growth Energy, a company specializing in clean energy power plants in Africa. Clear Blueโ€™s Esite-Micro power technology, along with its Illumience Smart Power management service, will power a network of telecom sites across Africa, replacing costly and unreliable diesel generators with solar energy.

This shift aims to provide clean, reliable power for critical telecom services in regions facing significant fuel challenges. The project, currently in its final contract stages, is expected to begin Phase 1 shipments in 2024. With two more phases planned, the project could reach a total value of $4 million by 2026.

Miriam Tuerk, CEO of Clear Blue, emphasized the importance of this eco-friendly shift for Africa, noting that their advanced energy management technology will ensure optimal uptime and performance. Growth Energy’s Managing Director, John Okoro, praised Clear Blueโ€™s technical expertise and commitment to high-quality performance, citing their crucial role in achieving the project’s cost and performance targets.
