Neosun Energy, a leading global EPC company, has announced the signing of a contract for a new commercial solar plant in Sheikhupura, Pakistan. The project, which is set to commence this autumn, involves the installation of a 367 kWp solar power system.
The agreement was finalized with Trust Fiber LTD, and the solar station will feature nearly 600 solar panels, each with a capacity of 615Wp. The system is expected to generate approximately 448 MWh annually, which will enable Trust Fiber Unit-I to eliminate its electricity bill entirely.
Junaid Kabir, Head of Sales at Neosun Energy Pakistan, commented, โThe impact of this solar power plant extends beyond environmental benefits. It will significantly reduce operational costs for the business, leading to lower consumer prices. Solar energy addresses the high cost of electricity, making products more affordable and benefiting both manufacturers and consumers.โ
Neosun Energy has recently expanded its presence in Pakistan with new branches in Karachi and Lahore. This expansion aims to bolster the companyโs capacity to deliver commercial solar panels and energy storage solutions for local industrial and commercial projects, with capacities ranging from 200 kW to 10 MW. The Neosun Pakistan team has already completed several projects in the region in a short span of time.
Ilya Likhov, CEO of Neosun Energy, stated, โOur expansion into the Pakistani market is driven by our commitment to supporting local businesses with innovative and cost-effective solar solutions. Our international experience and extensive portfolio enable us to offer competitive pricing and high-quality service. We are confident in our ability to deliver excellent value and maintain a competitive edge in the local market.โ
