The Tech Talks will provide a platform for experts to share the latest technological advancements and market trends across the hydrogen value chain, from production to storage, transportation, and utilization.
As global interest in hydrogen continues to rise alongside advancements in technology and industrial expansion, this year’s H2 MEET Conference will bring together industry leaders from around the world. The Tech Talks will span the entire three-day event and will take place in specially designated seminar halls and rooms on the third floor of KINTEX Hall 1.

Day 1:
On September 25, experts from leading companies such as INFICON AB, Fives, HEROSE GmbH, and TรV SรD will present insights on hydrogen system leak testing, the role of liquid hydrogen in the mobility value chain, welding techniques, material selection for preventing hydrogen embrittlement, and green hydrogen as a key element in Chinaโs decarbonization strategy.
Day 2:
The second day, September 26, will feature presentations from Dassault Systรจmes, APGreen Inc., the UKโs National Physical Laboratory, Thyssenkrupp Nucera, Ceres, and Tampere University. Topics will include efficient and clean hydrogen production through digital solutions, plasma chemical hydrogen production processes, large-scale electrolysis technologies for industrial decarbonization, and partnerships between Ceres and Doosan Fuel Cell. Additional discussions will focus on smart manufacturing of reversible solid oxide fuel cells and innovations in mass flow control for testing electrolysis cells.
Day 3:
On September 27, companies such as Utility Global, Festo, and EN2CORE Technology will discuss energy transition strategies, the efficient operation of hydrogen equipment, and the application of zero-energy building technologies to drive the hydrogen ecosystem forward.
Chairman Nam-hoon Kang highlighted the significance of the Tech Talks in supporting the global transition to carbon neutrality, stating, โAs hydrogen becomes a key part of this transition, we have designed the Tech Talks to provide valuable insights into the latest technologies and trends from leading hydrogen nations. We are committed to ensuring this session delivers practical benefits to hydrogen enterprises.โ
Expanding Global Collaboration and Industry Reach
H2 MEET 2024 is co-organized by prominent Korean organizations, including the Korea Automobile Manufacturers Association, H2KOREA, the Hydrogen Energy Network (HyNet), the Korea Energy Agency, and the Korea Industry Alliance Forum (KIAF). This yearโs event will also include the debut of H2WORLD, Koreaโs first dedicated hydrogen exhibition, further enhancing the event’s scope and ambition.
Pre-registration for the Tech Talks is open until September 24 on the official H2 MEET website, where attendees can also access detailed information on the program and speakers.
Simultaneously, the Secondary Battery Materials, Parts, and Equipment Exhibition (K-BATTERY SHOW 2024) and the Heating, Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, and Fluid Exhibition Korea (HARFKO 2024) will take place in KINTEX Hall 1, expanding the range of industry discussions to include energy storage and industrial systems.
This Septemberโs event is expected to provide participants with in-depth insights into South Koreaโs growing hydrogen economy, alongside showcasing the nationโs leadership potential in global hydrogen technology development.
