Gensol Engineering Limited Awarded AED 81.6 Million Contract for 23 MW Rooftop Solar PV Systems in Dubai

Gensol Engineering Limited, a prominent player in the renewable energy sector specializing in solar power engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services, has been awarded a significant contract by a leading sustainable development and clean energy company in the UAE. The contract involves the design, construction, and long-term operation and maintenance of rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) systems for an aviation company’s engineering facilities in Dubai.

With a total installed capacity of 23,178 kWp (23 MWp), this project represents a major step towards sustainability in the Middle East, contributing to the region’s transition to cleaner energy sources. Valued at AED 81.6 million (approximately INR 186 Crore) plus taxes, the contract is set to be executed over a 20-month period.

The turnkey project will encompass the design, procurement of materials, construction, testing, commissioning, and long-term operation and maintenance of the rooftop solar PV systems. These systems are expected to provide a sustainable energy solution to the customer, significantly contributing to Dubaiโ€™s ambitious sustainability targets while reducing the carbon footprint of one of the regionโ€™s critical industrial facilities.
