The Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone) announced a new $1.8 million investment project to manufacture aluminum frames and solar mounting systems in Egypt. SCZone Chairman Walid Gamal El-Din led the signing ceremony for the PYRAMIDS ALU project, which will be developed in three phases, starting with the construction of a 5,000-square-meter factory in the Sokhna Industrial Zone.

Expected to open within two months, the new factory will feature four Plug & Play units, aiming for a monthly production capacity of 1,750 tons. The agreement was signed by Walid Youssef, Managing Director of the Main Development Company (MDC), and Tarek Shehata, General Manager of PYRAMIDS ALU.

El-Din emphasized the SCZoneโ€™s commitment to attracting investments in various sectors, including green fuel production, infrastructure, and green bunkering services at the ports of Sokhna and East Port Said. He noted that PYRAMIDS ALU aligns with SCZoneโ€™s strategy to support local manufacturing for green energy and solar component production.
