The workshop attracted a diverse group of attendees, including local professionals from the photovoltaic (PV) industry, researchers, PV project owners, and partners from across the entire industry supply chain. Discussions at the event focused on the energy transition in Southeast Asia, alongside advancements in PV technology and product development.

Allen Geng, Managing Director of International Sales at Yingli Solar, opened his speech by extending a warm welcome to all attendees and expressing gratitude for their participation. He highlighted Malaysia’s significant potential for growth in the photovoltaic (PV) power generation sector and reaffirmed Yingli Solar’s commitment to maintaining high-quality standards and its long-term goal of being a global leader in the PV industry. Yingli Solar has been active in Malaysia since 2013 and has continuously contributed to various projects in the region. According to Geng, the company is eager to collaborate with partners to expand market opportunities and accelerate Malaysia’s energy transition.
