NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), a subsidiary of NTPC Limited, has invited bids for the development of a 1,500 MW grid-connected solar photovoltaic (PV) project at Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited’s (RVUNL) Solar Park in Bikaner, Rajasthan. This project is being carried out through a joint venture between NTPC Green Energy Limited and RVUNL, aiming to enhance renewable energy capacity in the region.
The sale of the document is scheduled to begin on December 27, 2024, with the bid submission closing on January 10, 2025. The final date for bid submission is January 27, 2025. The tender, announced on December 16, 2024, seeks bids for the Balance of System (BOS) package for the solar project. The bidding process will follow a single-stage, two-envelope system. Envelope I will contain the techno-commercial bid, while Envelope II will include the price bid. A reverse auction will follow to determine the final contractor.
The tender documents will be available for download starting December 27, 2024, on NTPC’s official tender websites, including ntpctender.ntpc.co.in and ntpc.co.in. Interested bidders can access detailed information and requirements through these platforms.
