SECI Extends Deadline For ₹1,000 Crore Term Loan Proposal For 300 MW Solar Project In Andhra Pradesh

The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has announced an extension for the submission of proposals for a term loan of ₹1,000 crores to finance a 300 MW solar PV power plant at Ramagiri, Andhra Pradesh. The new deadline for submitting loan proposals has been set for 27th December 2024. Interested banks and financial institutions (FIs) are required to submit their proposals in a sealed envelope, clearly marked as “Bid for Funding the Credit Requirement of SECI ₹1,000 Crores,” to the SECI office before the deadline.

For any clarifications, applicants are advised to contact the Deputy Manager (Finance) at SECI. The extension allows potential bidders additional time to prepare their proposals and meet the requirements. This funding is crucial for the successful implementation of the solar project, which is an important step towards enhancing renewable energy generation in the region.
