Premier Energies Limited, through its subsidiaries Premier Energies Global Environment Private Limited, Premier Energies International Private Limited, and Premier Energies Photovoltaic Private Limited, has secured multiple orders worth ₹1,460 Crore from two large Independent Power Producers (IPP) and other entities. The orders comprise ₹1041 Crores for solar modules and ₹419 Crores for solar cells, marking a significant development for the company in the solar energy sector.
The supply of solar modules and cells is scheduled to begin in May 2025, reflecting the company’s ability to secure long-term projects in the renewable energy space. These contracts will contribute to the ongoing expansion of India’s solar power infrastructure, which is essential for meeting the nation’s renewable energy targets.
These orders, which fall under the category of one-time contracts, are part of Premier Energies’ continued efforts to strengthen its presence in the domestic market. The company has emphasized that there is no involvement of the promoter or promoter group in the entities awarding these contracts, ensuring that the process remains free of related party transactions. Furthermore, the contracts are not expected to create any conflicts of interest.
