GREW Solar to Set up 3.0 GW Solar Cell & Module Manufacturing Facility in Narmadapuram (MP) with an Investment of Rs. 3000 Cr

GREW Solar, a flagship venture of the Chiripal Group, is poised to establish a three-stage backward integrated manufacturing unit in Bhopal for solar module production with a commitment to invest INR 3000 crores. Located at Narmadapuram (near Bhopal-MP), this state-of-the-art facility spanning over a total area of 60 acres, will have an annual capacity to produce 3 GW of solar cells which will aid to meeting the PV solar cell and module demands within the country and beyond. Upon launching operations in Narmadapuram, GREW Solar will provide employment opportunities to over 1000 people in and around the region.

In addition to the capacity building initiative, GREW Solar recently commenced operations of the second unit in Jaipur, Rajasthan and has started the construction of their next phase – 3 unit. The high-tech facility in Jaipur that is adhering to international standards and featuring world-class automated machinery will bring Grew Solar Jaipur plantโ€™s total capacity of 8 GW.
