ENGIE Steps Up Clean Energy Drive In India With Expanded Supply & Management Services

ENGIE, a global leader in low-carbon energy, has recently established a new branch in India to focus on its Supply & Energy Management activities. This strategic move underscores ENGIE’s long-term commitment to supporting India’s transition towards a carbon-neutral future and accelerating the growth of renewable energy in the country.

With a presence spanning over 30 years in India and a decade of experience in renewable energy, ENGIE currently operates a solar and wind portfolio with a combined capacity of 2.3GW. Looking ahead, the French multinational aims to scale its renewable energy assets in India to reach 7GW by 2030. To achieve this, ENGIE is exploring cutting-edge renewable technologies such as battery storage and hybrid renewables, further enhancing its contributions to India’s green energy transition.
