In a major step toward a sustainable future, a Carbon Neutrality and Distributed Energy Agreement was signed at the 2025 Capital Region Investment Attraction Roadshow in Korea. The agreement, forged by 3M Korea, Recurrent Energy, Yeongsan Energy Development, Naju City, and other partners, marks a significant milestone in the journey toward a cleaner energy landscape.

The centerpiece of the agreement is the development of a 200MW community-driven solar power plant in Naju City. This project is poised to not only contribute to the region’s decarbonization efforts but also create valuable job opportunities, boosting local economies and attracting talent.

The agreement underscores a strong commitment to carbon neutrality and energy independence, with collaboration between industry leaders and local governments paving the way for sustainable development.
