Spruce Names Chris Hayden As Senior Vice President Of IT And Enterprise Applications

Spruce Power Holding Corporation, a leading owner and operator of distributed solar energy assets throughout the United States, has announced the appointment of Chris Hayden as Senior Vice President of IT and Enterprise Applications. In this role, Hayden will be responsible for advancing the company’s digital service platform, enhancing the capabilities of its Spruce PRO service offering, and overseeing strategic initiatives within the IT function. His leadership will encompass IT strategy, infrastructure modernization, application development, and cybersecurity, supporting Spruce Power’s continued growth and operational efficiency.

Hayden brings more than 25 years of experience in digital transformation, strategic IT planning, and process optimization. He joins Spruce Power from Sunnova Energy, where he served as Chief Technology Officer and Executive Vice President, leading key digital initiatives to support scalable growth in the residential solar energy space. Prior to Sunnova, Hayden was Chief Information Officer at STREAM and held a senior IT leadership position at TXU Energy.

His appointment reflects the company’s strategic focus on digital transformation and operational excellence in the growing distributed energy sector.
