United Solar Polysilicon And OQ Alternative Energy Sign Strategic Deal For Developing 700 MW Photovoltaic Power Station

United Solar Polysilicon, a global supplier of high-quality polysilicon materials, has announced a strategic partnership with OQ Alternative Energy, a key renewable energy developer based in the Middle East. As part of this collaboration, the two companies will co-develop a major 700-megawatt (MW) photovoltaic (PV) power plant in Oman.

This partnership reflects a shared goal of supporting the region’s energy transition by expanding the use of renewable sources. The planned 700 MW solar project will play a vital role in advancing Omanโ€™s national renewable energy objectives. Once completed, the facility is expected to make a significant contribution to the country’s efforts to diversify its energy mix and reduce reliance on conventional energy sources.

Longgen Zhang, Founder and Chairman of United Solar, mentioned, “This partnership embodies our shared vision to harness the region’s abundant solar resources and accelerate the transition to clean, renewable energy.
