Emerge, a joint venture between Masdar and EDF, has entered into a strategic agreement with Pipetec to develop a rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) project at Pipetecโ€™s industrial facility located in the Khalifa Economic Zones Abu Dhabi (KEZAD).

Announced during the “Make it in the Emirates 2025” forum, the agreement covers the installation, financing, and operation of a 510 kWp rooftop solar PV systemโ€”marking the first phase of Pipetec’s transition to renewable energy.

The solar project reflects both companiesโ€™ commitment to advancing clean energy solutions in the UAEโ€™s industrial sector and aligns with the nationโ€™s broader decarbonization targets under the UAE Energy Strategy 2050.

Key stakeholders involved in this milestone collaboration include Ibraheem Almansouri, Aurรฉlien Delahaye, Michel Abi Saab, Heena Kalantri, and Vinay Kalantri.

The partnership reinforces KEZADโ€™s growing role as a hub for sustainable industrial development and highlights the private sector’s active contribution to the countryโ€™s green energy ambitions.
