SolarEdge Sets Up New Bengaluru R&D And Tech Center To Scale Operations In India

SolarEdge Technologies, a global leader in smart energy technology, has expanded its presence in India with the inauguration of a new R&D and Technology Center in Bengaluru. This strategic move marks a significant step in the companyโ€™s ongoing commitment to the Indian solar energy market and its investment in localized innovation and support.

The new facility is equipped to support advanced research, product development, and technical operations, enabling SolarEdge to better address the growing demands of Indiaโ€™s photovoltaic sector. Sanjay Puri, Country Manager of SolarEdge India, led the inauguration and emphasized the importance of the Bengaluru center in driving innovation and supporting the companyโ€™s regional and global objectives. Since establishing its Indian office in 2017, SolarEdge has steadily increased its involvement in the market. Its portfolio of smart energy solutions including PV inverters, power optimizers, energy storage systems, and a cloud-based monitoring platform that supports a wide range of solar applications across residential, commercial, and small utility-scale segments. The establishment of the Bengaluru R\&D center reflects SolarEdgeโ€™s long-term vision for India and reinforces its commitment to supporting the countryโ€™s transition to clean and sustainable energy.
