NTPC Limited, a Maharatna public sector company, has invited bids through an open tender for the installation of a 460 kWp rooftop solar PV system. The installation will be carried out at the plant and township buildings of the Jhanor Gandhar Gas Station. This project is part of the EC Capital Budget for the financial year 2025โ26. The work is expected to be completed within 120 days, and the bid validity is set for 240 days.
The tender does not allow two-stage bidding and requires submissions in three covers: Fee, Pre-Qualification/Technical, and Finance. The Fee cover includes scanned copies of the tender fee and Earnest Money Deposit (EMD). The Pre-Qualification/Technical cover must include technical or qualifying requirement details, a Power of Attorney as Attachment-3, and a declaration regarding insolvency, bankruptcy, and liquidation. The Finance cover is where bidders submit the price bid.
The total tender fee is โน2,655, and the EMD amount is โน2,00,000, with no exemption permitted. A Bank Guarantee is mandatory for the EMD. All payments must be made online, and the use of multiple currencies is not allowed for either BOQ or fees. The tender uses a โNormalโ BoQ Comparative Chart model with 2 decimal places, and โForm Based BoQโ is not applicable.
The tender was published on June 24, 2025, at 11:00 AM. The same date marked the start of document download and sale, which will continue until July 15, 2025, at 04:30 PM. Clarifications on the tender can be sought until July 07, 2025, at 09:00 AM. Bid submission starts on July 02, 2025, at 09:20 AM and will close on July 15, 2025, at 04:30 PM. The technical bid opening is scheduled for July 17, 2025, at 04:30 PM. A pre-bid meeting will be held online via Microsoft Teams on June 30, 2025, at 04:30 PM.
General technical evaluation will be carried out, but item-wise evaluation is not permitted. The auto-tendering process is disabled, but the finance bid status will be shown. If only one bid is received, the tender deadline will automatically extend by 4 days each time until the minimum required bids are received.
