JA Solar, a global leader in the photovoltaic (PV) industry, has once again been recognized for its excellence in product quality, performance, and reliability. The companyโ€™s flagship n-type DeepBlue 4.0 Pro solar module has been awarded the โ€œOverall Highest Achieverโ€ title in the 2025 PV Module Index published by the Renewable Energy Test Center (RETC). This marks the sixth consecutive year that JA Solar has received this prestigious recognition.

The annual RETC report is considered one of the most credible assessment standards in the PV sector. It evaluates solar modules from global manufacturers using rigorous testing protocols that exceed standard IEC certification requirements. Only those modules that demonstrate strong and consistent performance across all key indicators โ€” including quality, performance, and reliability โ€” are honored with the โ€œOverall Highest Achieverโ€ title. In the 2025 evaluation, only 13% of the tested products met this stringent benchmark.

JA Solarโ€™s DeepBlue 4.0 Pro stood out in 12 individual test categories, including Damp Heat (DH), Potential Induced Degradation (PID), UV-Induced Degradation (UVID), and efficiency, outperforming all other brands in this yearโ€™s evaluation. The results confirm the moduleโ€™s outstanding durability and high performance under harsh environmental conditions.

This recognition from RETC comes shortly after another international accolade: the DeepBlue 4.0 Pro was named a โ€œTop Performerโ€ in the 2025 PV Module Reliability Scorecard released by PVEL, a globally respected independent testing lab.

“Our long-term commitment to delivering high-quality and reliable modules stems from our focus on creating real value for our customers,” said Aiqing Yang, CEO of JA Solar. “These repeated recognitions from reputable institutions like RETC and PVEL highlight the strength of our technology and reinforce customer confidence in our products worldwide.”

The DeepBlue 4.0 Pro series has already been deployed in a wide range of utility-scale and distributed PV projects around the world, delivering strong real-world performance. Based on JA Solarโ€™s advanced n-type technology platform, this module offers high energy yield and stable operation, making it an attractive choice for investors and project developers focused on long-term returns and sustainability goals.

As JA Solar celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, the company continues its mission to drive innovation in the PV sector and support the global transition to clean energy through high-performance, reliable products.
