Serentica Renewables has achieved a significant milestone in its mission to provide round-the-clock renewable energy with the commissioning of a 180 MW solar-wind hybrid project spread across 1,200+ acres in Bikaner, Rajasthan.

The hybrid facility will supply clean power to one of the world’s largest zinc producers, marking a major step forward in industrial decarbonisation. The project is expected to substantially reduce carbon dioxide emissions and strengthen efforts toward sustainable manufacturing.

Beyond energy generation, Serentica emphasized the broader impact of the initiative — from reducing environmental footprints to supporting local communities involved in the project’s execution.

The company reaffirmed its commitment to driving large-scale renewable energy adoption, stating that the development reflects its larger vision of enabling a greener and more inclusive industrial future.
