ITI Limited, a Central Government PSU under the Ministry of Communications, has issued an Expression of Interest (EOI) inviting bids for the establishment of a 300 kWp rooftop solar plant at the premises of APHMEL, Kondapalli. This project includes comprehensive operation and maintenance (O&M) for a period of 10 years.
Interested vendors must submit their bids online through ITI Limitedโs eWizard portal. The last date for submission of bids is August 6, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. The technical bids will be opened on the same day at 11:30 a.m., while the financial bids will be opened on August 7, 2025, at 11:30 a.m.
The projectโs estimated tender value is โน1.5 crore. Bidders are required to submit an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of โน1,50,000 and must also provide a Performance Bank Guarantee (PBG) equal to 10% of the agreement value, valid for 127 months. Additionally, bidders must pay an EOI document cost of โน1,000 plus 18% GST. A corpus fund amounting to 0.04% of the order value must be paid before the release of the Purchase Order (PO). Transaction charges of 0.03% of the quoted value, plus applicable GST, also apply.
The scope of work includes the design, engineering, procurement, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of the rooftop solar plant. The technical setup must include Mono PERC or TOPCon crystalline PV modules, inverters with remote monitoring, module mounting structures, and energy meters, among other equipment. Solar fencing and mesh fencing are also part of the site safety measures.
Bidders must meet specific technical eligibility criteria, including experience in executing a cumulative 100 kWp of solar rooftop or ground-mounted projects between FY 2018โ19 and FY 2024โ25, and at least one 10 kWp operational project. Financial eligibility requires a minimum average annual turnover of โน1 crore over the last three financial years and a working capital of at least โน1.5 crore as per FY 2023โ24 audited statements. The net worth must be positive.
All submissions must be made online, and hard copies of the EOI documents are not accepted. The bidder must not be blacklisted by any government or public sector entity. ITI Limited reserves the right to accept or reject any bids without assigning a reason.
