On August 25, 2025, Solar Energy Corporation of India Ltd. (SECI) conducted an e-auction for Project-VI under the SIGHT Scheme (Mode-2A-Tranche-I) for the production and supply of 25,000 metric tons of Green Ammonia. The project involved Paradeep Phosphate Limited, Zuarinagar, and was carried out as per RfS No. SECI/C&P/MI/00/0002/2024-25.
The e-auction was organized as a single-entity event with a fixed quantity, and both the starting price and reserve price for the bidding process were set at ₹85.09 per kilogram. According to the snapshot from the e-RA on the e-SecureAuction platform, ACME Cleantech Solutions Private Limited emerged as the Rank-1 bidder. The company quoted a bid of ₹62.84 per kilogram, which was also recorded as the loaded bid value. This was the lowest bid in the auction, making ACME Cleantech Solutions the successful participant.
The auction was recorded at 18:07:53 on August 25, 2025, confirming the outcome of the process. The auction also included contact details for ETS Customer Support for technical assistance during the process. This initiative marks a step forward in SECI’s ongoing efforts to promote clean energy and sustainable solutions in India, with Green Ammonia production emerging as a key part of the country’s transition to renewable energy-based fuels.
