Sungrow Debuts High-Efficiency, Reliable S2500S-L Microinverter at Intersolar South America 2025

Sungrow has introduced its next-generation microinverter, the S2500S-L, to the Brazilian market at Intersolar South America 2025. Designed for superior reliability, efficiency, and ease of use, the S2500S-L aims to accelerate Brazil’s transition to clean energy.

Fast-Track Approval for Brazilian Installations
The S2500S-L delivers 2.5 kW per unit, and connecting three units provides 7.5 kW—compatible with Brazil’s fast-track procedure (Normative Resolution No. 1,000/2021), simplifying technical approval by power distributors. With a power density of 455 W/kg, the microinverter is lightweight yet highly efficient. It supports four independent MPPT inputs with DC currents up to 18 A, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of solar modules.

Brazil’s North, Northeast, and Central-West regions experience high temperatures year-round, with microinverters often installed in tight rooftop spaces. The S2500S-L operates reliably at 45°C without power derating and maintains output up to 80°C. The S2500S-L features one-click configuration, automatically syncing settings across all devices on the network, reducing setup time by over 66%. Robust Communication and Data Management
The microinverter provides strong communication with signal quality 5–10 dB above industry averages and 10% higher transmission power, ensuring long-range, stable connections. High receiver sensitivity (-93 dBm) allows even weak signals to be captured reliably. The system reconnects automatically after short disconnections, and in case of longer outages, it stores data for 24-hour retransmission, ensuring users always have complete and accurate performance records.

Even after 1,000+ hours of high-temperature, high-humidity, and salt spray testing, it continues to perform flawlessly. It also achieves Class B electromagnetic compatibility, the world-leading home-appliance standard.
