Sugs Lloyd Limited, a prominent integrated EPC company with expertise in electrical transmission and distribution, solar, and civil projects, has announced the receipt of a major order valued at ₹3271.69 lakhs from the South Bihar Power Distribution Company Limited (SBPDCL). The order is for the Ongrid Electrification of Decentralized Distributed Generation (DDG) connected areas in the districts of Jamui, Banka, Nawada, Munger, and Lakhisarai in Bihar.

The project has been sanctioned under the Revamped Reforms-Based and Results-Linked Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS), a government initiative aimed at strengthening India’s power distribution network. The focus of this project is on remote and challenging regions, including hilly and forested areas, where reliable electricity access has remained a challenge.

As part of the scope of work, Sugs Lloyd will carry out the Ongrid Electrification of villages currently connected through off-grid or DDG systems. The company will be responsible for the erection of 11 KV and LT lines, installation of distribution substations (DSS), providing service connections to rural households, and executing comprehensive design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning. The project has a strict timeline and is scheduled for completion within 12 months from the date of award.

This order highlights the company’s growing reputation as a trusted partner in India’s power distribution sector. It also reflects Sugs Lloyd’s commitment to building reliable and sustainable infrastructure that improves the quality of life in rural communities. By executing projects of this scale, the company contributes to the government’s vision of achieving universal electrification and strengthening the power sector.

The award comes at a time when Sugs Lloyd Limited has recently entered the stock markets, successfully raising ₹85.65 crore in its debut. The combination of a strong order book and fresh capital infusion places the company in a solid position to expand its operations and take on larger projects in the future. This achievement not only strengthens its presence in the EPC space but also demonstrates its ability to deliver transformative projects that align with India’s energy and development goals.
