Lotte Global Logistics and NuriFlex Vietnam have signed a partnership agreement to install a rooftop solar power system at Lotte’s cold storage facility in Dong Nai. The collaboration marks a significant step forward in both companies’ commitment to green transformation and sustainable business practices.
The signing ceremony, attended by senior executives from both companies, highlights their shared vision to address climate change challenges and energy security concerns while promoting environmentally responsible growth.
Driving Sustainability in the Logistics Sector
With the logistics industry’s high electricity demand—particularly in cold storage, transportation, and distribution—the rooftop solar initiative is a strategic effort by Lotte Global Logistics to cut greenhouse gas emissions and optimize operational costs. The project also underscores the company’s corporate social responsibility efforts and alignment with Vietnam’s broader clean energy transition.

NuriFlex Vietnam to Lead Implementation
NuriFlex Vietnam, a leader in renewable energy solutions, will serve as the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contractor for the project. The company will oversee system design, equipment supply, installation, and provide supervision, operation, and maintenance (O&M) throughout the facility’s lifecycle.
Mr. Kim Jin Young, General Director of NuriFlex Vietnam and Vice Chairman of the Korean Chamber of Commerce in Dong Nai (Kocham), expressed his enthusiasm about the partnership. “We are honored to partner with Lotte Global Logistics on this project. The rooftop solar system is expected to lower electricity costs, enhance energy independence, and improve Lotte’s ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) profile. The project will also contribute to reducing CO₂ emissions and accelerating Vietnam’s clean energy transition.
