TrinaTracker, the smart solar tracking solutions provider under Trinasolar, has received Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) Certification for its Vanguard 2P tracker and Product Carbon Footprint Reduction Verification for its Vanguard 1P tracker from Bureau Veritas. With these recognitions, the entire Vanguard series is now independently verified for its carbon footprint performance.

The Vanguard 2P certification was conducted under ISO 14067:2018, covering the full โ€œcradle-to-gateโ€ lifecycleโ€”from raw material sourcing and transportation to manufacturing and delivery. The review highlighted TrinaTrackerโ€™s sustainability measures, including the use of low-carbon steel, optimized logistics with rail and sea freight, green electricity in production, and emission reductions through improved routing and load efficiency.

The Vanguard 1P tracker, which had earlier received PCF certification, has now been verified to achieve a 10 percent reduction in cradle-to-gate emissions within one year, driven by design refinements and enhanced manufacturing practices. This demonstrates TrinaTrackerโ€™s ongoing efforts to lower product carbon footprints and support customers in meeting stricter carbon regulations in Europe, Latin America, and beyond.

By certifying both Vanguard models, TrinaTracker provides customers with transparent, internationally aligned carbon data, reinforcing its role in advancing the global transition to net zero. These achievements are part of Trinasolarโ€™s wider sustainability strategy under its SOLAR framework (Sustainability, Optimization, Leading, Action, Responsibility). Trinasolar has already secured carbon footprint certifications across its Vertex N modules, earned lifecycle EPD and LCA certifications for Elementa 2, and implemented more than 40 energy-saving projects across multiple โ€œGreen Factories.โ€
