DEWA Partners with Salesforce to Boost AI-Driven Digital Transformation and Clean Energy Goals

HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Managing Director and CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), met with Salesforce’s global executive leadership, led by Miguel Milano, Global President and Chief Revenue Officer, to discuss advancing innovation, digital transformation, and sustainability initiatives. The meeting also included Mohammed Alkhotani, CEO of Salesforce MENA, and DEWA executives Marwan bin Haidar, Executive Vice President of Innovation and the Future, and Waleed bin Salman, Executive Vice President of Business Development & Excellence.

During the discussions, Al Tayer underscored the strategic value of collaborating with global technology leaders to enhance operational efficiency, foster innovation, and support Dubai’s green economy. He highlighted that DEWA’s partnership with Salesforce is a key enabler of the emirate’s broader digital transformation goals and sustainability ambitions.

Al Tayer reaffirmed DEWA’s long-term strategic vision to become a globally leading, sustainable, and innovative corporation, targeting net-zero carbon emissions by 2050. He also emphasized DEWA’s commitment to delivering highly personalised and proactive services, anticipating customer needs in real time, and redefining service excellence as part of its digital transformation journey.

The meeting explored opportunities to deepen the strategic partnership, leveraging expertise in the utilities sector to accelerate DEWA’s digital and sustainability objectives. The collaboration will also prioritise optimising field services through advanced digital tools, driving operational efficiency and excellence. Sustainability remains central to the partnership, with initiatives aimed at accelerating DEWA’s clean energy transition and supporting its net-zero ambitions.
